Roman shades for the Bronx homes
The Bronx has Art Deco apartments on the Grand Concourse with corner windows and casements, Riverdale homes and co-ops with Hudson views, waterfront houses near Pelham Bay and City Island, and new buildings across the South Bronx. Roman shades bring soft fabric and tailored folds, a natural fit for homes where character and warmth matter.
What matters in the Bronx
Architecture and character
Art Deco corner windows need two treatments that meet cleanly at the corner.
Warmth in winter
Older Art Deco and prewar windows can be drafty in winter.
Privacy
Apartments on busy avenues need privacy at street level.
Sun and glare
Riverdale windows facing the Hudson get strong afternoon sun off the water.
